Thank you for using MyPAiL (My Personal AI Lackey). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

When you use MyPAiL, we may collect and process the following types of information:

• User Messages & Conversations: Text you enter when interacting with your AI companion. These are sent to our AI processing service (Groq API) to generate responses.
• Device Status Data: Battery level, network connectivity status, and device movement/activity. This data is used locally to personalize your AI companion's emotional responses and personality. It is not stored on our servers.
• App Usage Data: Basic interaction data to help improve app performance and stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI companion responses tailored to your context and emotional state
• To improve and maintain the MyPAiL service
• To diagnose and fix technical issues

We do not use your data for advertising profiling or sell it to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

MyPAiL uses the following third-party service to process AI responses:

• Groq API – Conversation messages are transmitted to Groq's servers for AI processing. Please review Groq's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

4. Data Storage & Retention

• Conversation history may be stored locally on your device.
• We do not permanently store your personal conversations on our servers beyond what is necessary to generate a response.
• Device sensor data (battery, network, movement) is processed in real-time and not stored.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

MyPAiL is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any future communications from us
